Have you ever looked at a billboard from just a few feet away?


It often appears blurry, pixelated, or even unfinished.


Step back a hundred feet, however, and the image suddenly becomes sharp and detailed.


The billboard didn't change—your viewing distance did.


One of the most important concepts in professional printing is understanding that print quality depends not only on image resolution, but also on how far away the artwork will be viewed.

When you upload an image, the print size tells the lab how densely the available pixels will be distributed.
